Use of smartphone-based spectroscopy is showing a constant growth since last year. It presents the advantage being widely available for everyone. The most important thing that it still low-cost method adapted to education context. However, as all analytical methods, should be validated ensure reliability its results. In this study, we present steps validation process with statistical tests applied dosage di-iode. Shapiro–Wilk test revealed our has random character. Homogeneity variance analyses using Cochran confirmed precision method. Fisher linearity model correlation between I2 concentration and response. relation response A = 1000 C + 0.002. From parameters linear regression model, deduced limits quantification XLq 4·10−5 mol·L−1 XLd 1·10−5 mol·L−1.
